ITS Korea, Co. started during the late 90s as a research institute in Seoul
with dependencies in San Francisco, Germany, Singapore, and the UK.
While initially conceived of as a firm offering services in areas such as
grant aquisition, quantitative (statistical) research analyses on demand,
and conducting independent research itself, we are now expanding and
in the process of penetrating other segments.
We employ criteria such as the following in our selection process:
- fluency in English and fair knowledge of Korean or German or
- fluency in German and a fair knowledge of Korean/English or
- excellent English and fluency in another language (f.i. Chinese, Japanese,
Spanish, French, Italian)
- flexibility in terms of time
- academic credentials (preferably postgraduate level+, but undergrads will also be considered)
- qualifications (such as TESOL, documented teaching or research experience)
Preferred areas of expertise (selection):
Business management, economics, international trade, cognitive sciences, education,
health sciences & medicine, social work, behavioral sciences, fine and performing arts.
Some of our strengths:
Flexibility to accomodate individuals' needs and demands, long-time knowledge of the
market, widely networked, high professionality.
Some of our weaknesses:
No insurance provided (short-term contracts), no free room & board (but we can help
with accomodations), no stable income (but we can bargain about contract terms such
as a defined amount of monthly pay), no free flights, no visa issuance (exceptions possible).
Pay:
Flexible. Starting at 4,100 KRW (which is about minimal hourly wage in the RoK) up to
100-150 EUR/hr.
