Subject: Have some questions about Korea
Hi, it's so nice to see u guys again ^^

Well, I have several question about how u guys think of Korea;; I need this result for my school project which should be done untile next week so.. if u guys have some time, please answer these questions.


- For people who have visited or living in here (S.Korea) -

1) How long (Doesn' t have to be too specific)

2) First impression when u came here.

3) Name and Country

- For people who don't have any experience living or visiting here -

1) Name and Country

2) What made u to get interested in Korea ?

3) What can u imagine when someone ask u about Korea ?

4) If u have a chance to come here will u come ?

1. I have lived in Seoul for 1 1/2 years
2. About Seoul: So big and dirty and wonderful mountains
    about Korea: Beautiful landscape

2) Kind people, beautiful landscape, intresting history

3) Fast economical raise during the last decades. Special quality of language and particulary writing. Unique dishes. Art.

1) Few Months
I came there several times...

2)My first impression when I arrived in Seoul was "Looks like Tokyo" but somehow different...."
Honestly, I dont like Seoul so much, I Love Daejeon ;-)
About Korean People I think first it is difficult to get in touch with the People but if you succeed the relationship is very good :-)  
I Love Korea  ;-)

The first time in korea I was very impressed by the amazing difference between very crowded and modern cities like seoul and the total opposite innercountry..
As long as people think you´re american the behaviour is a bit frozen :-) But as a "Dogil" everything is as friendly as it can be.

1. How long in the country
About 5 years

2. First impressions
a) People
- rather shy
- very polite
- extremely helpful
- nobody speaks any English
- "Fine feathers make fine birds"
- very attractive women (seriously)
- cars only come in white, black or silver
- high national pride

b) Culture
- interesting mix of conservative behavior and modern life-style
- extremely heavy drinking culture (escape from the hierarchy)
- highest visible and proselytized Christianity I have ever seen

2) First impression when u came here.
- big cars
- big streets
- dirty air
- people reading bible everywhere
- churches at every corner
- peolple polite but somehow distant
- nobody has a mobile phone older than a year
